On the September Fifth, First Fridays of Philadelphia will host ourselves and a collection of predominantly East Coast artists for a one-night art extravaganza entitled “NIGHTLIFE”.The show features artwork by myself (Morgan Thomas), Buildmore (BOS), Kenji Nakayama (JP), Damion Silver (BOS), Nineta (SP), Richard Pastor (PHI), Plan (PHI), Darkclouds (NYC), El Celso (NYC), Robots Will Kill (NYC), Enamel Kingdom (BOS), Dana Woulfe (BOS), Greg Fournier (BOS), Nate Black (BOS), Josh Falk (BOS), Nick Zegel (PHI), Dave Tree (BOS), Tony the Kid (BOS) and others. cases of PBR, Upper Crust Pizza to nibble, and an ongoing two-storey indoor painting installation. We’ve received great feedback so far, including spots in TheWeeklyDig and the Boston Phoenix. The event should be a great opportunity for all artists to show some recent work in a new, enthusiastic city. I know that most of you are in boston, and some of you are abroad or wont be able to make it out for the opening, but we would be thrilled if you could forward our advert to people you think might be interested in the Philadelphia area. It’s a one-night-only show, so lets get the word out.The Gallery space is located above the Artist and Craftsman Supply Store at 307 Market Street in Philadelphia, PA. There will be beverages…maybe some pretzels, and lots of increasingly expensive art.Check our website – www.overkillstudio.com – for updates.Stop by and check it out.. I have a bunch of drawing there and the artist line up is good too!
